this problem is very easy to tackle, the demand exceeds the supply beca use the blood donation is perceived as a free noble and human act, this might be true but only a price setting mechanism can bring the demand and supply together, the blood donor should get an adequate compensation for this service unless she or he renounces and at that case the compensation could be earmarked to other noble humanitarian purposes. only the implementation of a transparent compensation schema is able to ease the blood shortage problem for our hospital.
